A baggage tag provided to team members by the organisers of the 1964 summer Paralympics has the official title – The Tokyo Games for the Physically Handicapped – and also uses the word ‘Paralympic’ for the first time by an organising committee. The Games weren’t officially known as the Paralympics until 1988.
