On one of those days when sky and snow are one, Michael Norton won a bronze medal in the men’s LW11 slalom event at the 1992 Albertville Paralympic Winter Games. The 1992 Games marked a breakthrough for the Australian team – with 5 athletes and 7 staff, it was the largest team to that time and it was the first team to return with any medals, after Norton, Michael Milton and David Munk all achieved podium finishes.
