Schoolchildren meet their heroes at ‘Ansett House’

An extensive, national education program was delivered by the Sydney Paralympic Organising Committee (SPOC) in the lead-up to the Games and it helped bring more than 340,000 schoolchildren from all over Australia to the Sydney summer Paralympics. When they had finished competition, many Australian athletes signed autographs for their new fans at ‘Ansett House’, a sponsor’s venue for celebrating athletes’ achievements.
