A contrast for Finneran, who was alone four years before

Ron Finneran traveled by himself to the first Paralympic Winter Games in 1976. In a different role in 1980 at the Geilo winter Paralympics, Finneran ensured that there was support for the two competing Australian athletes, and the opportunity for a future athlete – Andrew Temple – to experience the Games.
