David Munk heads to the line with the Lillehammer Games still ahead

Prior to the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Games, the Australian Team spent a month training and racing in Europe, from a base in Tamsweg, Austria. The preparation was the best ever given to an Australian team. Here, David Munk competes in a lead-up event. At the Lillehammer Games, Munk added a bronze medal in the giant slalom to go with the bronze he won two years previously in the super-G at the Games in Tignes-Albertville.
