Cameron Rahles-Rahbula in the starting gate

Cameron Rahles-Rahbula visualises his race as he waits in the starting gate during the Torino winter Paralympics. Rahles-Rahbula had a breakthrough performance at the 2004 world championships, winning two gold and a silver medal. However, the event structure changed in Torino, with the introduction of a single event for all standing skiers and the Games didn’t bring the same rewards for Rahbula. Noted for his aggressive skiing style, often ‘on the edge’, Rahles-Rahbula failed to finish three of his four events.
