Katrina Webb won gold in the T38 400m at the Athens summer Paralympics. Webb won gold in the 100m and 200m at the 1996 summer Paralympics and returned to the top of the dais in Athens with a victory in the longest ‘sprint’ distance, the 400m, considered by sprinters to be their endurance event. Webb was an ambassador for the International Paralympic Committee at the 2012 and 2016 summer Paralympics.
