Let the athletics begin – Australia’s premier sport in Seoul

The athletics team produced 14 of Australia’s 23 gold medals at the Seoul Paralympics and the athletes were keen to support their teammates. Here, Australian team athletes and officials watch events from the infield during the 1988 summer Paralympics. Vic Renalson was at these Games as an athletics coach, after a stellar career as an athlete.
