The English team marches in the Opening Ceremony of the 1962 Commonwealth Paraplegic Games.
The 1962 Commonwealth Paraplegic Games preceded the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in the same city and were the first regular multi-sport, multinational games for wheelchair athletes after the Stoke Mandeville Games and the Paralympic Games. The Commonwealth Paraplegic Games continued until 1974. The English Team was the largest at the 1962 Games but was headed by Australia on the medal tally.
